ED drugs bought on line are mostly fake

A study released at this year’s World Meeting on Sexual Medicine concluded that most of the sildenafil (better known to all as Viagra) sold online is fake and contains very little of “the real thing”.

In this analysis of drugs purchased from 22 website, 77% of the sampled merchandise was “counterfeit” and the highest level of true sildenafil in the fake pills was 50 %, and as low as 30 %.

Very easy lesson from all this: since there is no way of knowing if the drugs that you purchase on-line are real or fake, or probably most often, part-way in-between, you should never buy drugs on-line.

Especially, I’d add, with drugs that may hide an important medical condition, as drugs bought for erectile dysfunction might, since ED is often a marker for much more serious heart and cardiovascular problems, a wee, soft canary in the mine, you might call it.
