I love eggs.
Not only are eggs delicious, but egg dishes are also
impossible to screw up and they are so healthy for us.
And now, I have reasons to love eggs even more.
According to some recent data from a UK government health
oversight group, which was presented publicly at The (UK) Nutrition Society's (2012)
Summer Meeting, two medium eggs provide nearly two-thirds of the recommended daily
amount of vitamin D and if you use your common sense you deduce that large eggs
– the kind I love – clearly provide even more vitamin D.
So hey, you want to get your vitamin D levels up without
taking supplements, eat eggs, and even better, eat them in the form of an
omelet at a restaurant with a sun deck.
You’re welcome.
